12/09/2018 BERC/QOU organized the 2nd national workshop of “Develop Business and Economic Research Centers Capacity at Palestinian Higher Education Institutions (BERC). The workshop aimed at introducing the BERC project to the Palestinian research council and highlighting main finding towards institutionalizing scientific research management at Palestinian higher education institutions. The project Palestinian partners in the West Bank and Gaza participated in the workshop via video conferencing facilities.
The workshop resulted in several important outputs and actions towards the institutionalization of the scientific research in the field of business and economic research. This experience can achieve more benefits for the Palestinian universities if it is applied by other disciplines and at other Palestinian universities. Moreover, there is a need for policies to be taken by the research council to activate and increase the Palestinian universities contribution to the international knowledge via scientific research.
